Both Jim McLaughlin and Eddie Arcaro boast six wins as jockeys, while James G. Rowe Sr. holds the record for the most wins by a trainer with eight. Belair Stud and James R. Keene share the honor of most wins by an owner, each having claimed victory six times.

Julie Krone made history in 1993 as the first female jockey to win a Triple Crown race, while in 1984, Sarah Lundy became the first female trainer to saddle a horse for the Belmont Stakes.
