Quarterback Justin Fields managed 99 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception while leading the team in rushing with 47 yards.

Historically, the Bears have struggled in similar instances, losing each of their last 14 Sunday games and failing to cover the spread in their last eight games against teams with a losing record.

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos began the season with two competitive games but suffered losses. They opened against the Raiders, falling 17-16 despite leading 13-10 at halftime. Quarterback Russell Wilson had 177 passing yards and two touchdowns in the defeat. In their second game, they lost 35-33 against Washington in another close matchup.

However, their third outing against the Dolphins was disastrous, resulting in a 70-20 loss. Wilson had 306 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception. Cortland Sutton led the receivers with 91 yards and a touchdown, while Javonte Williams was the leading rusher with 42 yards. The Broncos have struggled as road favorites, losing their last five such games, and they’ve failed to cover the spread in 11 of their last 12 games as favorites.

Prediction

This matchup doesn’t offer much to like, but someone will secure a victory. The Chicago Bears have struggled on offense, managing just 203 total yards (87 passing) and 11 first downs in their last game against the Chiefs. On the other hand, the Broncos had a woeful defensive performance against the Dolphins, allowing 726 yards, 350 rushing yards, and 10.2 yards per play.
