Everything is ready for Tuesday, October 24th, the “Tip Off” and the new season of the NBA. Let’s make some predictions and NBA futures for the coming campaign, which teams have a real chance to win it all, which teams got better and whether is there a chance to have a new champion in June.

NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE

NBA Player Damian LillardThis season looks like a two-team run, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics, but you never know, injuries, slumps, trade acquisitions, etc., and when you see you have an emotional team that played well in the playoffs.

Damian Lillard’s trade to the Milwaukee Bucks and an eventful off-season for the Boston Celtics has seemingly cemented the top two spots in the Eastern Conference. Sending Lillard to the Bucks which already have their core with Giannis, Middleton, and Brook Lopez, (they did lose Holiday in the trade) have a duo dynamic as tough as some in the West. This trade helps Giannis to perform better and not depend on him as the playmaker and boosts the NBA Odds for them, even when he is on the bench. If the team has a great performance this year, it could be important also for contract issues with Giannis, who signed a five-year, $228 million supermax extension in December 2020 and is under contract for this season and next, with a player option for the 2025-26 season.

The Boston Celtics also made their moves to be a better team, they brought in a new center Kristaps Porzingis veteran Jrue Holiday, and the rest of the core, like Jason Tatum and Jalon Brown. This is another team fan favorite to make it to the NBA Finals this season, has been there five times in the last seven seasons.

NBA WESTERN CONFERENCE

This will be the “Wild West” again, with four to six teams with big and real chances to make it to the Finals, The reigning champs Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors, and LA Clippers, the experts put the Nuggets at least in the Conference Finals at the very least and also the see a third -round rematch against the Los Angeles Lakers. While the Nuggets have Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, healthy and playing together it will be tough and challenging to win.

The Phoenix Suns, also made some good moves in the season, made a trade and brought Guard Bradley Beal to play together the Hall of Famer Kevin Durant and franchise player Guard Devin Booker, and made a good trio, that if they are healthy they will hurt you.

The Los Angeles Lakers are back, same core plus a good addition
