Which teams will participate in the Hall of Fame Game?
One club from each conference participated in the Hall of Fame Game from 1971 through 2010. (AFC and NFC). That concept, however, ended in 2011 and was replaced by teams that had at least one prominent alumnus inducted that year to add intrigue to the game.
The Jaguars haven’t competed in the Hall of Fame Game since 1995, when they were founded. It’s hardly surprising that offensive tackle Tony Boselli is the team’s first introduction to the shrine given that they are a young club.
The Raiders, who are playing in their first game as Las Vegas, are making their fourth debut on the opposing sideline of the match. The black and silver are represented in Canton this year by WR Cliff Branch and DT Richard Seymour.
