The couple announced it on Instagram, sharing a series of photos from the proposal—Travis down on one knee in a garden setting, with Taylor saying yes. Their caption? “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married :firecracker:”—a nod to their very different worlds colliding.

Swift and Kelce even set the post to her song “So High School” from The Tortured Poets Department album, a track that many fans already linked to their relationship. TMZ confirmed the ring is a custom-designed old mine brilliant cut from Kindred Lubeck.

Their story has played out like a Hollywood script. It started back in July 2023, when Kelce revealed on his New Heights podcast that he tried (and failed) to meet Taylor during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. His move? A friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Word got back to Taylor, and she later called it straight out of a John Hughes movie.

By September 2023, she showed up at her first Chiefs game, cheering from Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead. The rest is history: Taylor became a fixture at his games, even joining him on the field after his 2024 Super Bowl win. Kelce returned the favor by supporting her on tour, including a cameo on stage at Wembley Stadium.

Now, fast forward to 2025, and the two are officially locking it down.
